How the Certification Process Works
Confirm Your Qualifying Condition
Georgia law lists specific qualifying conditions for the Low THC Oil Registry. Review the list to confirm your diagnosis qualifies before scheduling an appointment.
Schedule a Physician Evaluation
Book an appointment with a certifying physician — in-person or via telehealth. Bring your medical records, diagnosis documentation, and a valid Georgia ID.
Receive Your Written Certification
If the physician determines you qualify, they will issue a written certification. This document is required to register with the Georgia Low THC Oil Registry.
Register with the State
Submit your certification to the Georgia Department of Public Health to receive your Low THC Oil Registry card. Processing typically takes 15 business days.
