The Pressure Squad is GMCS's volunteer and sweat-equity participation tier — open to individuals, organizations, and professionals who want to contribute through time, talent, and service.
Your time and talent have value. Pressure Squad participation is free and does not require a donation, membership payment, sponsorship, or institutional partnership.

Not every contribution is financial. The Pressure Squad Community Partner tier gives individuals, grassroots groups, nonprofit organizations, professionals, students, advocates, caregivers, patients, and community supporters a way to contribute through time, talent, service, expertise, outreach, and in-kind support.
GMCS is a nonprofit organization. Sweat equity refers to contributed service and does not create an ownership interest in GMCS.
Who Can Join
Pressure Squad participation is open to anyone who wants to contribute to the GMCS mission. No financial contribution is required.
Ways to Contribute Your Sweat Equity
Sweat equity means volunteer service, contributed time, professional skills, outreach, or in-kind support. It does not mean ownership, financial equity, or governance authority.
Pressure Squad Community Partner Benefits
Participation is voluntary and does not create an employment relationship, guarantee payment, or confer governance authority, Board membership, policy control, endorsements, referrals, or exclusive access.
Community Service & Student Hours
Students, interns, and community volunteers may request verification of completed service hours when GMCS has documented those hours. Academic or internship credit remains subject to the requirements and approval of the participant's school or program.
Volunteer Status
- Pressure Squad participation is generally voluntary unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
- Volunteer participation does not create an employment relationship.
- Volunteers may not represent themselves as authorized spokespersons for GMCS unless expressly approved.
- Use of the GMCS name, logo, or branded materials requires authorization.
Pathway to Deeper Involvement
No one is required to move into a paid tier. The Pressure Squad is a complete and valued form of participation on its own.
